| Oreco launches Nitrogen generators for the oil and gas industry |
Expanding the Oreco Business Oreco is now supplementing our core business - oil tank cleaning and oil recovery - with on-site Nitrogen generators known as Oreco NitroGen systems.
The decision arose out of our long experience within the oil and gas industry. We regularly recommend Nitrogen as an inert gas to maximise safety during tank cleaning in connection with our BLABO system. We therefore know the value of having your own on-site, on-demand supply of inert gas can add. Now, we wish to share our accumulated expertise by launching Nitrogen generators specifically aimed at the oil and gas industries. |
Where to use Oreco NitroGen Being an inert gas, Nitrogen is useful for many tasks within the oil and gas industry, offering a cost-effective way of ensuring safety and maintaining product quality.
Nitrogen is used for inerting/blanketing, drying and purging tasks, both offshore and onshore. Examples include pressure testing and pressure maintenance, pipeline repairs, storage tank intering (also oil tankers), and refinery tasks such as reactor cooling/shutdown. An Oreco NitroGen solution can easily be adapted to specific needs, ensuring maximum mobility and flexibility. |
Nitrogen is used in various industries within the oil and gas sector due to its cost-effective way of ensuring safety.
|
Oreco NitroGen highlights Oreco NitroGen is a self-contained system that allows users to generate their own Nitrogen on demand. Only electricity is needed, which makes the generators very cost-effective. All logistics coordination and uncertain delievery times become a thing of the past. And compared to membrane solutions, the PSA technology creates a more durable system with lower maintenance costs.
•Flexible on-site, on-demand Nitrogen generators •Nitrogen purity up to 99.9% •Use Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology for minimal maintenance •Available as containerised, skid-mounted, trailer-mounted or fully customised systems •Created specifically for oil and gas industry applications |
