Safetap fulfills the ATEX directive
Our SafeTap tool has right from the outset been developed to operate in the gaseous atmosphere in the tank, EEx zone 0, but now we have the official stamp verifying it”.
The SafeTap is a safe and efficient tool developed by Oreco for tapping holes in tank roofs prior to installation of the tank cleaning nozzles. With the approval Baseefa verifies that all models of the SafeTap tool have been examined, tested and found to be in accordance with the ATEX Directive (94/9/EC).
ATEX is an EU directive and has strict safety standards for equipment for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. All Oreco tank cleaning systems comply with ATEX |
