100 years after the introduction of crude oil tanks, manual tank cleaning is still the method of choice, when storage tanks need to be cleaned.
In an article published in Exploration & Production, volume 7 - issue 2, written by Oreco’s Sales Director Mr. Carlos Legorreta, the effect tank farms and especially manual tank cleaning has on the global environment is explained, advocating for a change in attitude and method towards higher life quality, a modern approach and a higher priority of HSE and not just costs and budgets.
