The challenge of tank management
Bulk liquids stored in aboveground storage tanks pose a challenge for the companies behind. An effective and smart tank management programme is necessary to ensure that tanks operate safely, are inspected and maintained on a regular basis, all of this as cost-effective as possible.
With increasing regulatory requirements to industry standards, tank owners also need to demonstrate to the overseeing agencies that they comply with the standards with regard to inspection intervals, fitness-for-service assessments and other tank issues. Tank farms, terminals and refineries alike struggle with the task of implementing an effective tank management programme and the challenge of maintaining it.
The '2nd Annual BLS: Tank Integrity and Maintenance' conference will focus on Technical & Maintenance Management: Product, Tank Maintenance & Refurbishment, Tank Construction & Leakage Detection and Health & Safety: Health, Safety & Environment and Terminal Operations & Emergency Response.
