Oreco holds an ever-increasing number of certificates of approval from recognised international institutes and government bodies. These cover Oreco cleaning processes as well as our sub-contractors, their products and their production methods.

The Danish Technological Institute, Environmental Division's evaluation of the BLABO® tank cleaning system assessing the environmental impact of the process.
"The environmental impact of the BLABO® tank cleaning system is low. The amount of wastewater generated is low and has low concentrations of hydrocarbons and solids. The system can meet with legal requirements in the EU, provided the resulting solids are used as fuel or disposed of according to local waste disposal regulations."

Environmental approval of sludge handling and treatment

Danish Technological Institute, Environmental Division, has evaluated the sludge handling and treatment process of the tank cleaning systems designed by Oreco A/S, Denmark. This environmental evaluation focuses on wastewater, emissions to atmosphere and solid waste, and includes occupational health and safety as well as fire and explosion risk.
"The result of the evaluation of the sludge handling and treatment system ... is that it will improve the total environmental performance by reducing the content of hydrocarbons in the waste."
