Designed and built in Denmark to ISO 9001 standards, our tank cleaning systems and PSA gas generators are trusted worldwide for their reliability, innovation, and long service life. Vision

Oreco aims to be a profitable supplier to customers who require innovative and HSE-optimised solutions for oil tank cleaning or oil-water-solids separation with maximised oil-recovery and clean effluents. We also supply very cost-effective nitrogen and oxygen generators based on the Pressure Swing Absorption (PSA) technology and in this way aim to increase our customers’ flexibility and cost-effectiveness.

Mission

It is our mission to be the market leader in providing competitive solutions for no-man entry cleaning of oil storage tanks and in designing systems for recovery of waste oil within the oil and petrochemical industries. In developing and producing its systems, Oreco continuously seeks to meet the needs of our stakeholders to ensure that the systems comply with increasing health, safety and environmental requirements while simultaneously focusing on cost-effectiveness.

History of

1957

The Toftejorg Group was founded

The Toftejorg Group was founded with the aim of supplying systems, services and technology for automated cleaning of the inside of tanks in almost all industries.

1992

The BLABO® system was developed

The BLABO® system was developed. This automated cleaning technology is designed for cleaning black oil tanks. Patent obtained the same year.

2002

The MoClean® system was launched

The MoClean® system was launched. This automated cleaning technology is designed for cleaning ‘white oil’ tanks.

2005

Changed name to Oreco A/S

Toftejorg Technology A/S changes name to Oreco A/S to reflect an increasing commitment on the oil recovery and tank cleaning industry.

2007

Nitrogen and Oxygen Generators was lauched

Oreco A/S launches the Oreco  Nitrogen and Oxygen Generators – a range of Gas Generators designed for industrial applications

2011

Oreco A/S develops oil sludge

Oreco A/S develops oil sludge re-processing system SLOPO®

2015

Moclean® – ATS system

Occupational Health & Safety Policy

The Oreco systems typically operate in “Hazardous Areas” where flammable atmosphere can be present, requiring precautions against ignition. Personnel working in Hazardous Areas and inside refineries and other oil handling facilities are required to have a very high level of safety awareness.A standard contract for an Oreco supplied system includes an operator training course.
